Southeast Saskatchewan Regional Highway Transportation Overview

Twelve primary highways intersect the south east Saskatchewan region. Several of these provide access to the Trans Canada Highway #1 with markets to the west in Calgary and Vancouver, and to the east in Winnipeg and Toronto. Northern access via Highway #2 connects the region to Saskatoon and Edmonton, while Highway #39 connects the southeast to the major U.S. markets of Minneapolis/St. Paul and Chicago.

Each of these major all weather highways provide a fast and safe way of transporting bulk products to regional, provincial, and North American markets.
