SSEER takes a proactive and collaborative approach to regional economic development. Some of SSEER’s current economic activities include (but are not limited to):

Creation and maintenance of a regional website to assist business/entrepreneurs, industry, site selectors, jobseekers/newcomers and local communities with planning, access to markets/research and linkages. www.sseer.ca is south east Saskatchewan’s portal to regional information for local and global markets

Initiation, facilitation and implementation of economic development initiatives such as business retention & expansion projects and regional housing project

Spearhead initiatives which address obstacles to business and community development

Leadership development and community support services (SSEER Matching Fund Program; Community Growth Program, collaborative marketing, research and access to information)
